Commercial Security Commercial Security falls into three categories: Traditional Burglary and Fire Systems, Access Systems and CCTV. Traditional Burglary and Fire Systems safeguards your business when it is vacant at night and on weekends. Systems such as the PRO 6000 by General Electric is easy to use. Each staff member has their own code. Most perimeter doors and windows should be covered and generally we use dual TEC Motion Sensors in offices, showrooms and warehouses to detect entries through walls, ceilings and air conditioner ducts etc. This system can also include 24-Hour Hold Up buttons. Fire Detection consists of heat sensors in non-controlled environments such as a warehouse and smoke detectors in office, show rooms and storefronts. This system is active 24 hours a day. Required fire alarms by authorities such as the Fire Marshal or your insurance carrier usually need to meet ADA (American Disabilities Act) with strobe horns in most areas and strobe warning lights in restrooms as well as pull station by all exit doors. Many insurance carriers also require sprinkler flow or pressure valves that will dispatch a fire truck should the sprinkler be released. All monitoring of your system will be done at our own local central station which is in our offices and staffed by the most helpful service related staff in St. Louis. Access Systems track staff and keep areas or entire businesses in a "locked down" position at all times. This is very important to many businesses and even for non-for-profit organizations. Most losses that businesses have occur during the day hours from staff, not intruders in the wee hours of the night. Because of this having a card reader with electromechanical locks is a big benefit. Staff can be tracked and allowed access to any or all areas at different time zones. These systems are convenient for staff and will provide management with an audit trail. As with all commercial security, a visit by one of our professionally trained consultants can evaluate and assign a system for your company to grow with. CCTV-Closed Circuit Television, with all of the concerns on today's world, is the most effective way to monitor your business. These systems, now color, can monitor storerooms for inventory and office supplies, production areas, entrances and parking lots. Monitoring by screen can be kept from multiple locations and a record of activity can be done with a 24 to 168 hour time lapse VCR taping system or a new DVR digital video recording system.
